All eleven Shula's Steak House locations throughout the country are being honored by Wine Spectator Magazine with their 2016 Award of Excellence. Shula's Steak Houses in Orlando and in Naples are both receiving additional honors, earning the Best Of Award of Excellence. Wine Spectator's Restaurant Awards recognize restaurants whose wine lists offer interesting selections, are appropriate to their cuisine and appeal to a wide range of wine lovers.

"We strive to ensure our wine list complements our culinary program, balancing out familiar brands with more specialized selections," said Chad Brockway, Shula's Director of Operations and Beverages. "We work closely with wineries to ensure our selections are always evolving and that our guests have the best options to choose from. For example, we are currently working with Jackson Family Wines to celebrate Women Winemakers and the wines they produce."
Each of the eleven Shula's Steak House restaurants feature an extensive wine collection. The selection is printed on a wine list and also featured on Shula's Personal Sommelier Interactive iPad program.
In 2016, the Wine Spectator Restaurant Awards Program celebrated 35 years of championing excellence in restaurant wine lists. The awards are designed to elevate wine selection and service around the world and encourage strong programs that complement a variety of cuisines, settings, and prices. Shula's Steak Houses have been proud participants in the program since their first award in 2005.
"Shula's is proud of the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence designation once again in 2016," said Dave Shula, National Brand Ambassador of Shula's Steak Houses, LLLP. "We strive for excellence in at all that we do. This recognition is an acknowledgement that our properties are living up to the highest standards."
