Firehawk Aerospace, a Melbourne, FL-based rocket propulsion startup, closed a $2m seed funding round.
The round was led by members of the Victorum Capital Club and included additional investments from Achieve Capital and Harlow Capital Management.
The company intends to use the funds to test its engine at operational scale, grow its partnerships with government and commercial entities around the world, and expand its research and manufacturing facilities to Texas and Oklahoma.
Led by Will Edwards, Co-Founder and CEO, Firehawk Aerospace develops and manufactures high-performance hybrid rocket engines via patented 3D-Ultra rocket technology.
