Sofia will be based out of the team’s office located at 120 Ocean Drive, South Beach’s luxury development, GLASS. Under the Carmenate / Duchon brand, Sofia will oversee and lead the team’s interior design efforts for all new development projects and residential listings. With Sofia at the helm, the team will now offer exclusive services such as reimagining floorplans and custom design strategies in order to successfully market properties. A Swedish native, Sofia came to America in 1998 to pursue her passion for interior decorating. Her successful style and inspiring aesthetic has transcended into designing magnificent homes for her private clientele, and has expanded into other projects. Sofia has worked with multiple top developers including David Martin of Terra to reimagine and design floorplans for Park Grove, while also designing an entire floor at GLASS by Rene Gonzales. Working alongside Marcelo Kingston of Multiplan, Sofia designed the $35 million penthouse at 57 Ocean and Louis Birdman also enlisted in Sofia Jolesson Design for the 58thfloor penthouse at 1000 Museum. Sofia’s extensive network goes far beyond South Florida where she has completed projects for private aviation companies and residential homes in the Hamptons, New York City and Long Island.
