Young Berman Karpf & Gonzalez Partner Mitchell Karpf Named Parliamentarian of the American Bar Association’s Family Law Section

The law firm Young Berman Karpf & Gonzalez is pleased to announce that shareholder Mitchell K. Karpf has been confirmed as parliamentarian of the American Bar Association’s (ABA) Family Law Section. He will serve a one-year term.

The ABA’s Family Law Section has thousands of lawyer, associate and law student members worldwide. Its members are dedicated to serving the field of family law in areas such as adoption, assisted reproductive technologies, custody, divorce and military law.

Karpf is a Florida Bar Board Certified divorce and family law lawyer and mediator focusing his law practice in the areas of family and divorce law, appeals, mediation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements and alternative dispute resolution. He is Board Certified as a Family Trial Advocate by the National Board of Trial Advocacy and a Florida Supreme Court Certified Family Mediator.

He has served on multiple ABA committees in various leadership positions throughout his career and is a Past Chair of the Family Law Section. He is a member of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL).

He received his undergraduate degree, from the Florida Atlantic University and his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law.
