Yasin G. Amba, Andrew B. Jaffe and Mikhal O. Wright join as Associates

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm with four offices in Florida, has added Yasin G. Amba, Andrew B. Jaffe and Mikhal O. Wright as Associates in the firm’s Orlando office.

Yasin G. Amba joins the firm’s Casualty Department, representing a broad range of clients in bodily injury and other matters involving premises liability, automobile liability, products liability, and general liability. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Mr. Amba served as an Assistant Public Defender in Orange County. As a defense attorney, he handled hundreds of criminal matters, including cases involving murder, armed robberies, drug trafficking, felony domestic violence, burglaries, and violent crimes. Mr. Amba is a graduate of San Diego State University and Washington and Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia. He is admitted to practice law in the state of Florida.

Andrew B. Jaffe joins the firm’s Professional Liability Department and focuses his practice on first-party property insurance coverage. He has significant experience defending insurance carriers in a variety of complex first-party property matters. Prior to joining Marshall Dennehey, Mr. Jaffe was general counsel for one of South Florida’s largest homeowners insurance companies, where he handled the defense of first party property lawsuits throughout Central Florida. He is a graduate of the University of Central Florida and Nova Southeastern University Shepard Broad College of Law. He is admitted to practice in the state of Florida.

Mikhal O. Wright focuses his practice on Personal Injury Protection (PIP) litigation on behalf of insurance carriers. His practice involves taking Examinations Under Oath, conducting and defending depositions, handling motion hearings and engaging in written discovery. Before joining the firm, Mr. Wright worked as in-house counsel for a national insurance company. Additionally, he served as an Assistant Public Defender in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida where he tried several misdemeanor and felony jury trials. A graduate of Morehouse College and Vanderbilt University Law School, he is admitted to practice in the state of Florida.
