Moss Construction Promotes Mike Mazza to Multi-Region President

Moss Construction veteran Mike Mazza, has been promoted to President for the firm’s Mid Florida region and will be responsible for all operations in the I-4 Corridor. Additionally, Mazza will serve as President for the California, Hawaii and Texas regions, and be responsible for Moss’ National Justice operations.

Mazza, who has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry and is a Tampa resident, has been an integral part of several iconic projects for Moss in the Mid Florida region including Clearwater’s Nova Southeastern University’s School of Osteopathic Medicine, Tampa’s Harbor Island Icon apartments, Sarasota’s Ritz Carlton Residences, Tampa Bay Lightning’s practice facility addition in Brandon, and currently Strategic Property Partner’s H-Block apartments in Tampa.

Mazza earned a bachelor’s degree in construction management from Michigan State University and is a licensed general contractor. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the American Correctional Association (ACA), American Jail Association (AJA) and the Florida and California Sheriffs’ Associations. In the Tampa region, Mazza is involved with Metropolitan Ministries, which cares for the homeless and those at risk of becoming homeless in the community.
