IADC Appoints Spencer Silverglate as President-Elect for 2020-21

The International Association of Defense Counsel (IADC) has named Spencer H. Silverglate, a partner at Clarke Silverglate, P.A., in Miami, as president-elect for 2020-21. The appointment was announced at the IADC’s 2020 Annual Meeting. The IADCis the preeminent invitation-only global legal organization for attorneys who represent corporate and insurance interests.

An IADC member for 20 years, Mr. Silverglate previously served as director of the organization’s prestigious annual Trial Academy held at Stanford Law School.

Mr. Silverglate focuses his practice on high-stakes commercial litigation and the defense of catastrophic personal injury and product liability claims and class and mass actions. In addition, he serves on the American Arbitration Association’s National Roster of Arbitrators. He has been recognized as one of the top litigators in South Florida and the United States.

Mr. Silverglate received his J.D. from the University of Florida College of Law and his Bachelor of Science (with honors) from the University of Florida.
