Nason Yeager Gerson Harris & Fumero, P.A., a full-service business law firm, announced that Ivan R. Reich has joined the firm as partner. He will lead the firm’s new Bankruptcy, Insolvency and Restructuring Practice Group, focusing on commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, corporate reorganizations and related litigation. He will be practicing in the firm’s Palm Beach Gardens and Boca Raton offices.

Mr. Reich is an active member of the legal community, serving as past president, president elect and recording secretary of the Commercial Law League of America, the nation’s oldest and largest creditors rights organizations. He also helped to organize a national coalition of bankruptcy lawyers advocating for bankruptcy venue reform.

He has a wide range of experience in bankruptcy, insolvency and reorganizations, commercial litigation, lender liability, banking, asset protection (including offshore asset protection trusts), directors and officers liability, real estate litigation, financial institution litigation, internal corporate dispute litigation, securities litigation, debtor-creditor relations, domestic and international collections, foreclosure, landlord-tenant disputes, and appellate law.

Mr. Reich has been named to Florida Trend’s Legal Elite since 2010 and Florida Super Lawyers since 2008 in bankruptcy law.

He received his B.A., cum laude, from Vanderbilt University in 1985 and his J.D., with honors, from Vanderbilt University Law School in 1988. While in law school, he served as Associate Managing Editor of the Law Review and was a member of the Moot Court Board and Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society.
