CBRE Senior Vice Presidents Tom O’Loughlin and Larry Genet,along with Associate Michael Oretsky successfully negotiated 15 new lease deals over the last month totaling 125,000 square feet throughout Broward County.

The CBRE team represented owners EastGroup Properties, Adler Real Estate Partners, Stockbridge Real Estate, Prologis, Link Industrial Properties and Longpoint Realty Partners in in the transactions, which include:

• A 10,692-square-foot lease with Appelson INC at Prologis Hollywood Park, located at 5553 Anglers Ave in Hollywood.

• A 10,638-square-foot lease with World Alliance at EastGroup Interstate Commerce Center, located at 1604 NW 23rd Ave in Fort Lauderdale.

• A 10,562-square foot lease with ECI Pharmaceuticals at EastGroup Airport Executive Center, located at 3150 NW 56th St in Fort Lauderdale.

“We have seen a significant increase in activity over the last month from small bay users in the market,” commented Oretsky. “We are fortunate to work with great Landlord’s capable of getting deals even in a challenging environment.”

“We are seeing a good upswing from sub-25,000-square-foot users across Broward and Dade Counties,” added O’Loughlin. “These business owners feel like the worst is behind them and feel confident enough in the economy to sign new lease agreements.”

The team - O’Loughlin, Genet, Larry Dinner, Oretsky, and Jake Zebede - represent more than 13.5 million square feet throughout South Florida. The team successfully closed 150 transactions worth more than 1 billion dollars in total consideration in 2019.
