Preparations are underway for the Holy Cross Hospital Medical Staff “Roaring 20s – Gatsby Revisited” Ball to be held at the Signature Grand, 6900 W. State Road 84, Davie, Florida on Saturday, April 4, 2020.
The black-tie gala will begin at 6:30 p.m. and features cocktails, dinner, dancing, and a silent auction. 1920’s Gatsby-themed attire optional. Highlights of the evening will include dinner, dancing with a speakeasy theme and flapper dancers.
The gala event will raise funds for a new Outpatient Cognitive Disorders Program at Holy Cross Hospital which will emphasize “people centered care” for patients with dementia. The center aims to study dementia, identify risk factors, offer pre-clinical screening programs to catch it before symptoms emerge, offer therapies to prevent or slow the progression, and sponsor community educational programs. The honorary event chairs are Allan Ribbler, PhD, Clinical Neuro Psychologist and Eduardo Locatelli, MD, Chief Phil Smith Neuroscience Institute.
