Marshall Dennehey Announces New Florida Shareholders

Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin, a leading civil defense litigation law firm, is pleased to announce that Florida associates Samuel C. Higginbottom, Harris B. Kirsch and Lindsay G. McCormick have been named shareholders of the firm. The promotions went into effect on January 1, 2020.

Samuel C. Higginbottom is based in the firm’s Tampa office where he is a member of the Casualty Department. He represents clients in the fields of retail liability, automobile litigation, trucking accident litigation, and in various other types of general litigation, including contract disputes, in both state and federal courts. Additionally, his practice includes the defense of first and third party coverage claims under marine insurance contracts, cargo and warehousemen disputes, Jones Act and maritime personal injury claims, as well as working with motor vehicle insurers. Mr. Higginbottom is a graduate of The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and he is admitted to practice in Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida.

Harris B. Kirsch works in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office and is a member of the Casualty Department. He focuses his practice on representing clients in the fields of automobile litigation, commercial premises liability, construction litigation, third party water litigation claims, personal injury protection claims and general casualty matters. Mr. Kirsch began his career at the Broward County State Attorney’s Office and possesses significant experience handling Personal Injury Protection matters for a multitude of insurance companies. He is a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law and he is admitted to practice in Florida.

Lindsay G. McCormick practices out of the firm’s Tampa office and is a member of the Professional Liability Department. She handles construction defect litigation and general professional liability defense, providing counsel to sub-contractors, general contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, architects and engineers in claims brought against them in a variety of construction projects and disputes. Her background also includes work with condominium association claims, and directors and officers claims for real estate agents, brokers and appraisers. A graduate of Florida State University College of Law, Ms. McCormick is admitted to practice in Florida as well as the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
