Nearly 80 homes to be built on Oakland Park Boulevard near I-95
PulteGroup, one of the nation’s largest homebuilders, has acquired 20 acres in Lauderdale Lakes for a new Pulte Homes community, Cassia Estates. Located on the corner of Oakland Park Blvd. and NW 31st Street, it will have 77 single-family homes with a gated entrance. Sales are expected to start in early 2021. Prices and floor plans are still in the works.
“The land acquisition fits into our strategy of finding opportunities in urban areas of South Florida,” said Brent Baker, Division President for PulteGroup in South Florida. “We look forward to the same success in selling homes at Cassia Estates as we have in our other Broward communities.”
Over the past several years, Pulte has expanded in Broward County with Parkview at Hillcrest in Hollywood, the Enclaves at Woodmont in Tamarac, and Oak Tree Golf Course in Oakland Park. All are or were golf course communities. At Oak Tree, PulteGroup purchased 139 acres in Oakland Park for single-family homes and townhomes on land that had been idle since the golf course closed more than a decade ago.
PulteGroup’s South Florida operations are based in Palm Beach Gardens. In this region which stretches from Miami to Vero Beach, the company builds under the Pulte Homes, Pulte Active Adult, DiVosta and Del Webb brands with prices ranging from the high $200s to over $1 million. Other projects include Boca Flores in Boca Raton, The Fields in Lake Worth, Ancient Tree in Palm Beach Gardens, Sonoma Isles in Jupiter, Preston Square in Palm Springs, Del Webb Tradition and Veranda Gardens in Port St. Lucie, and Lakes at Waterway Village and Magnolia Court in Vero Beach.
PulteGroup homes feature a SmartHome design with seamless WiFi reliability and increased bandwidth delivered by built-in access points and direct wiring throughout the home. This is just one example of how PulteGroup’s Life Tested Home Designs makes its homes better.
