Central Civil Construction Promotes Henry Camasta to Senior Project Manager

Central Civil Construction is pleased to announce that Henry Camasta has been promoted from project manager to senior project manager. He has been with the company for 11 years.

“We are very pleased to be promoting Henry to this new position of oversight,” said Robert Baer, President, Management and Development of Central Civil. “The company is busy with several new and challenging projects and Henry’s extensive experience on local and international projects aligns with what we need to ensure we deliver quality service to our clients.”

Camasta has more than 18 years of experience with major construction projects in South Florida and the Dominican Republic. This includes administration and planning for governmental, industrial and commercial owners specializing in underground utilities, heavy civil roadway, airport, seaport and site development. Currently he is part of Central Civil’s managing team for Miami International Airport's $76 million Central Base Apron and Utilities Modification and Expansion project. He has also worked on improvements for Port Everglades’ crane rail infrastructure and Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport’s Terminal 1.

Before joining Central Civil, Camasta was project manager at The Sun Land Group, LLC where he oversaw a housing project which included land development, infrastructure, new roads and utilities, and an irrigation project for a new canal with more than 100 miles of open trench.

Camasta holds a Master of Science degree in civil engineering from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from Instituto Technologico de Santo Domingo. He is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineering.
