Attorney continues work with organization after serving as chapter’s National Delegate

Anne Flanigan, a litigator at Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman, P.L., has been elected to serve as Treasurer of the Broward County Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (FBA).

Flanigan previously served as the chapter’s National Delegate for two years, acting as the local liaison to the national Federal Bar Association. She has been an active member of FBA since 2015.

“Serving the FBA for the last four years has been extremely rewarding,” Flanigan said. “I am thrilled to take on this new role with the Broward County Chapter, which provides important educational and pro bono programs for local attorneys and judges and the broader community.”

Flanigan was recently named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers and appointed to the Federal Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel.

Prior to joining the firm, Flanigan served as a federal law clerk to the Honorable William J. Zloch of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida. In law school, Flanigan was very involved with the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Center and competed in mock trials throughout the United States.

She received her Juris Doctor from Fordham Law School and attended Columbia University for undergraduate studies.
