Miami-based Arod Corp today announced that it had acquired office space at Grove at Grand Bay, the Bjarke Ingels-designed project in the heart of Coconut Grove.

The acquisition encompasses 12,700 square feet, inclusive of a full floor plate of the development’s south tower, located at 2675 South Bayshore Drive.

The space also touts a ground floor function space which will be utilized by Arod Corp for events, conferences and related activities. It will also be leasable to outside parties for similar activities. The raw space will take approximately nine months to build out.

Arod Corp’s Miami-based operations include Monument Capital Management and Newport Property Construction, along with a wide array of sports and wellness, media and entertainment organizations, real estate interests and venture capital.

In total, Arod Corp owns stakes in over two dozen companies, and beyond its Miami headquarters it has offices in New York and Los Angeles.

“The thought of having the entire Arod Corp Miami-based family under one roof has long been a desire of mine,” says Alex Rodriguez. “Not only is it very positive for economies of scale, complementing our other office locations around the country, but it will facilitate the synergistic, creative environment we look to foster.”
