The Holy Cross Medical Group, a multi-specialty physician employed group of more than 160 physicians providing services throughout Broward and Palm Beach counties, has added three new doctors who will be practicing at Holy Cross facilities in Fort Lauderdale.
Willy G Davila, M.D., joins the team at the Holy Cross Dorothy Mangurian Comprehensive Women’s Center as a specialist in urogynecology and reconstructive pelvic surgery. His expertise is in surgery for genital prolapse and urinary incontinence in women. Dr. Davila was the chairman of the department of gynecology at Cleveland Clinic Florida, where he was also the director of the pelvic floor center. He is past president of the International Urogynecologic Association (IUGA) and past chairman of the Board of the National Association for Continence (NAFC). Additionally, he is an honorary member of several international societies. Dr. Davila is an affiliate professor at the Florida Atlantic University School of Medicine and a clinical associate professor at the University of South Florida. After attending the University of Texas at El Paso for his undergraduate degree, Dr. Davila received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. He completed his residency at the University of Colorado where he received the “Most Outstanding Faculty Member Teaching Award” and the “Golden Apple Teaching Award.” Furthermore, Dr. Davila has contributed to dozens of books, research and publications. Having been in a very busy referral practice in South Florida for the past 19 years, he brings a unique academically- based practice to women at Holy Cross.

Logan Kaleta, PsyD., joins the Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute from Emory Rehabilitation Hospital in Atlanta, where he served as the attending inpatient rehabilitation psychologist and an assistant professor of rehab medicine in the division of rehabilitation neuropsychology at Emory University’s School of Medicine. He received his bachelor’s degree from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, before receiving a master’s degree as well as his doctorate of psychology in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University. He completed a post-doctoral psychology fellowship in rehabilitation, neuropsychology, and pain psychology at Tampa General Hospital. Specializing in concussion management, Dr. Kaleta serves on several national committees dedicated to improving athlete development, concussion management, sports rehabilitation, and the clinical practice of both rehabilitation and sports psychologists. He is a member of the Association of Applied Sport Psychology and the American Psychological Association’s sport, exercise, and performance psychology; rehabilitation psychology; and neuropsychology divisions.Dr. Kaleta is a certified ImPACT consultant (CIC), which designates best-in-class concussion care. He focuses his research on concussion management, sports neuropsychology, performance enhancement, and assessment with treatment after brain and/or orthopedic injury.
William Ward Jr., M.D., joins the Holy Cross Orthopedic Institute from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he received his medical degree and completed his residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Dr. Ward’s clinical focus includes physical medicine, spinal cord injury management, ultrasound-guided interventional procedures, prosthetics and orthotics, wellness and nutrition, vocational rehabilitation, alternative and complimentary medicines, and recreational therapy. His medical research interests include effectiveness of horticultural therapy in treating stress symptoms in non-combat trauma survivors, 3D-printed prosthetics and orthotics, and entheogens for the treatment of refractory depression and post-traumatic stress disorder. Prior to his time at the University of Miami, Dr. Ward received a Bachelor of Science degree in microbiology and cell science, cum laude, from the University of Florida.
