Moss Construction is pleased to announce that Brian Wetherington, a 24-year veteran, has been promoted to Vice President in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office.

Wetherington, who has more than two decades of experience in the construction industry, has been an integral part of several large projects for the Fort Lauderdale based management firm, including 4 West Las Olas, Adagio, ZOM Maizon, and most recently the Miami Open’s new home at Hard Rock Stadium.

In his new role as Vice President and project executive, Wetherington will be responsible for overseeing all items related to construction operations including business development, staffing assignments, project plan development, cost and schedule analysis, as well as owner and subcontractor negotiations.

“I’m humbled by not just the recognition, but by this amazing opportunity,” said Wetherington, whose experience includes residential, educational, entertainment, healthcare labs, hospitality and office projects. “From the start, working with the Moss team has been a pleasure and I hope to continue to grow with the firm.”

He earned his bachelor’s degree in Building Construction from the University of Florida.
