Michael S. Bender, Esq. has been named chair of the Florida Legislative Action Committee of Community Associations Institute. Bender is Firm Member of the leading Florida community association law firm Kaye Bender Rembaum.

A leader in the industry, Bender is a featured guest on Ask the Experts airing on WWNN-1470AM and 93.5FM radio and online, has been published inseveral business and legal periodicals and is a frequent lecturer on community association law. He, along with Kaye Bender Rembaum’s Managing Member Robert Kaye, leads an annual series of free educational “Ask the Attorneys” seminars, as well as monthly educational courses.
Bender is active in the Community Associations Institute where he has served on the Southeast Florida Chapter’s board of directors from 2003-2014 and again from 2016 through the present.Bender also has served as Chapter representative to the Florida Legislative Alliance since 2008, as legislative liaison to the Broward Coalition and is a member of the Condominium Planned Unit Development sub-committee of the Real Property Section of the Florida Bar.
A resident of Plantation, Bender earned his Juris Doctor from the University of California Hastings College of Law.
