Firm’s Claire Menard guides longtime client Intra-Lock International, Inc. through complex transaction

The corporate and securities practice group of Miami law firm Rennert Vogel Mandler & Rodriguez, P.A. is frequently called upon to guide companies through complex transactions. In the latest example, the firm’s Claire P. Menard successfully led the representation of Boca Raton-based dental product manufacturer and distributor Intra-Lock International, Inc. and its affiliate Intra-Lock Manufacturing, Inc. in the sale of the companies to a subsidiary of Henry Schein, Inc., a publicly held corporation and the world’s largest provider of business, clinical, technology and supply chain solutions to dental, animal health, and medical practitioners, as well as dental laboratories, government and institutional health care clinics, and other alternate care sites.

The transaction, which closed on Sept. 6, involved the purchase by a Schein subsidiary of 100% of the outstanding shares of two affiliated Intra-Lock companies. Dr. Thierry Giorno, thePresident, CEO and a principal shareholder of the companies, is considered an innovator in the research and development of dental implants and related products.

An implantology specialist, Giorno lectures extensively on the subjects of biomechanics, implant science and implant clinical applications at universities and various scientific organizations in Brazil, China, France, Italy, Spain, the United States and many other nations. Following the transaction, Giorno will remain involved with Schein.
