Las Olas Venture Capital said it had a $28.5 million final close on a maiden venture capital fund.
The Fort Lauderdale firm will invest in seed and Series A B2B startups addressing sectors such as enterprise software, business services, fintech and edtech. Initial checks can be up to $1 million with per-deal reserves of $2 million, and the deal pace should be four to six a year.
The firm had five portfolio companies already.
Founding partners are Dean Hatton, Esteban Reyes, Paul Tanner and Mark Volchek.
