Sara M. Hernandez, Senior Vice President, Business Development Team Leader at Coconut Grove-based Biscayne Bank, was installed as2018 president of CREW-Miami. CREW, an acronym for Commercial Real Estate Women, includes men and women members. It provides a forum for professionals involved in all aspects of the commercial real estate field.

A director of CREW-Miami since 2015, Hernandez’s theme as president is “doing things together,” that is, tapping each member’s strengths to move the organization forward. Manhattan-born Hernandez grew up in Miami and holds a bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Barry University.
