Swope, Rodante P. A. Welcomes Three New Attorneys

10/17/17

Swope, Rodante P.A. has welcomed three new associate attorneys to the firm this year: Mercy Almaguer, Daniel Greene, and Alex Sarsfield

The three were officially sworn in to the Florida State Bar on Friday, September 29, 2017, and are now licensed to practice in the state of Florida.

Almaguer graduated from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law in 2017, taking every learning opportunity to augment her knowledge and skills while in law school. She participated in many moot court competitions, including the 2015 Final Four Zimmerman Kiser Sutcliffe Moot Court Competition, where she excelled with great proficiency.

Greene also attended the University of Florida Levin College Of Law and graduated, magna cum laude, in 2017. As a law school student, he developed exceptional research and writing skills, and comprehensive knowledge of legal concepts that allowed him to receive several recognitions as well as publish his writing on the Florida Law Review in 2016.

Sarsfield, previously a high school social studies teacher and varsity boys’ soccer coach at Braulio Alonso High School, earned his Juris Doctor, cum laude, at the Florida State University College of Law in 2017. In law school, he held leadership positions in multiple student organizations, including President of the Moot Court Team, that helped earn awards such as the Distinguished Pro Bono Service Award; to name a few.

Prior to joining our law firm, Almaguer was a summer law clerk at Astigarraga Davis, Greene interned with the American Civil Liberties Union, and Sarsfield was with the Florida Division of Administrative Hearings as a law clerk. Each associate attorney brings individual experience to the firm along with a unique set of skills that have set them apart from their peers.
