The South Florida office of Duke Realty Corporation (Duke Realty), a leading nationwide REIT (Real Estate Investment Trust) specializing in the ownership, management and development of quality industrial facilities, has hired Chelsea Newberry as Leasing Representative. In her position, Chelsea will be responsible for helping keep Duke Realty’s 5.9 million-square-foot South Florida industrial portfolio leased, as well as source new business and development opportunities for the company.

“We continue to grow our South Florida portfolio and are pleased to expand our team to help with our leasing and development activities,” said Ed Mitchell, Senior Vice President of Duke Realty’s Florida operations. “Chelsea is a sales and marketing professional and will be an asset to our operations.”

Newberry comes to Duke Realty with experience in commercial real estate research and property management, supplemented by seven years as product manager for an educational technology company. She has a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Development from Nova Southeastern University and a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Broadcast Journalism from the University of South Florida. Her professional affiliations include memberships in ULI, NAIOP and CREW.
