Vince Marotta of Illustrated Properties and the Marotta Realty Group has completed the priciest condominium sales of 2017 in the high-end Jupiter Island and Singer Island markets. Since 2013, the leading luxury real estate broker has closed seven of the 10 most expensive and the two all-time most expensive condo transactions on Jupiter Island for a total sales volume of $20 million during that span.
On March 24, Marotta closed the $3.74 million sale of a three-bedroom, four-bathroom luxury condo at the Ocean’s Edge at Singer Island community. The 5,634-square-foot Unit 1801 includes two master baths, a covered balcony, Whirlpool spa, Roman tub, fireplace and stunning views of the ocean and Intracoastal Waterway.
Built in 2008, Ocean’s Edge is located at 5050 North Ocean Drive. Amenities include a bike storage facility, community room, exercise room and pool.
In Jupiter Island, Marotta facilitated the $2.8 million sale of a three-bedroom, four-bathroom condo at the Claridge community on Jupiter Island. The transaction closed on April 17.
The 4,300-square-foot Unit 4N includes a split bedroom, covered balcony, two master baths and ocean and Intracoastal views. Located at 19950 Beach Road, Claridge was built in 1994 and includes a pool, spa and hot tub as community amenities.
“We are finding that many sophisticated buyers today want to downsize in square footage, but not luxury,” Marotta said. “They travel the world and enjoy vacation homes in multiple destinations, so the need for a 12,000-to-15,000-square-foot home is being replaced by a more manageable luxury condo on the beach. Jupiter Island and Singer Island luxury condos provide the perfect answer to their needs.”
Marotta has more than 30 years of real estate experience as a developer, owner, operator and broker in Florida, California and Ohio. A Palm Beach Gardens resident, Marotta has enjoyed success in communities throughout the northern Palm Beach market like Bear’s Club, Old Palm Golf Club, Trump National, Harbour Isles, Frenchman’s Creek and many others.
The Yale University graduate is the son of Ann and the late Vincent Marotta, Sr., the original owner, inventor, creator and CEO of the company that produced Mr. Coffee. While at Yale, Marotta was a member of the varsity football and track teams.

About Illustrated Properties: The story of Illustrated Properties began in the 1930s, when F.F. “Bud” Adams, Sr. started selling land in Hobe Sound and on Jupiter Island. His son, Bud Jr., took the family business to Palm Beach in 1975 and founded Illustrated Properties. He also became the exclusive broker for Lost Tree Village and John’s Island. Under the leadership of Bud Jr.’s son, F.F. “Chappy” Adams III in the 1980s, Illustrated grew significantly while implementing new and innovative real estate technologies. The company endured a great loss with the passing of Chappy Adams in January 2013 but continued to grow as the #1 real estate brand in Palm Beach County while maintaining the culture of a family-owned business. Today, Illustrated Properties has more than 500 agents in 21 offices throughout Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Volusia and Collier counties. Illustrated is a Christie’s International Real Estate affiliate and a member of the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® network.
