Manors at Middle River now leasing for qualified applicants

Building Better Communities is now offering spacious townhouse rentals near the center of Wilton Manors. Developed by Building Better Communities, Manors at Middle River is located at 1716-1738 North Dixie Highway in Fort Lauderdale.

This new pedestrian friendly, Key West-style community consists of 12 townhouses, giving it an exclusive small neighborhood feel. The mix of two and three bedroom townhomes are ideal for families with rents lower than those of nearby market-rate properties, offering residents the opportunity to live in a luxurious and modern townhome at an affordable price.

The 1,200 sq.-ft. two-bedroom, two and one-half bath townhome has a one car garage with an additional parking space and rents for $1,750 per month. The 1,500 sq.-ft. three-bedroom, two and one-half bath townhome also has a one car garage with an additional parking space and rents for $2,100 per month. The property, located along a recently dedicated bike lane provides bike racks, along with a community BBQ grill and gazebo.

Each townhome at the Manors at Middle River features a fully equipped kitchen, energy-saving appliances, dishwasher, microwave, garbage disposal, ceiling fans, ceramic floor tiles, laundry room with washer and dryer, hurricane-impact windows and doors, window treatments, a covered patio, lush landscaping and is cable-ready.

“There is a tremendous demand for affordable housing in South Florida and we are extremely proud to introduce the Manors at Middle River,” said Ann Deibert, Assistant Secretary of Building Better Communities. “This community was tailored to support the needs of the Fort Lauderdale/Wilton Manors workforce.  It delivers quality, convenience and rents that are attainable while respecting the aesthetic standards of the Middle River neighborhood.”

The minimum qualifying annual income for a two bedroom home is $60,960 and three bedrooms is $75,600. The maximum income limit is 120 percent of the Area Median Income (AMI).
