The Coral Springs Regional Chamber of Commerce Small Business Leader Award recipient is selected by the Board of Directors for the Chamber of Commerce. Nominees are evaluated based upon Business Performance, Leadership Qualities, Community involvement and Chamber involvement.

Weiss began his career as an insurance defense attorney, litigating personal injury claims on behalf of insurance companies, corporations, physicians, hospitals, governmental entities and business owners.
