We begin in the storied East Village with this six-story modern gem. The Chatsworth was originally constructed in 1904 in the French Beaux-Arts style, and is one of the most elegant buildings in the entire city. Off the Brooklyn! 550 Vanderbilt is not only a stunning structure in one of the most culturally rich neighborhoods, it will be a part of the massive, eight-acre Pacific Park development. The building has a modern feel with a nod to a more classic aesthetic, and the apartments are gorgeous and absolutely flooded with natural light through their enormous windows. Our second Tribeca selection, the Woolworth is another classic building (a landmark actually) revamped for a new century. Here you get the grand spaces and the classic allure of old New York, with the modern amenities of any sleek, new building on the block. A beautiful balance between classic and contemporary is struck here. Beyond the extra space and the timeless refinement, residents will enjoy a wine-tasting room as well as a wine storage facility, a billiard lounge, a fitness center, a pool, sauna and hot tub and yes, on-site parking.
The iconic Stella Tower was designed by architectural icon Ralph Walker in 1927 and quickly became an attraction due to its hand-crafted brick work and it’s staggered rise to the sky. Now, in 2017 the building has been reinvigorated to serve another list of generations. The residences are modern masterpieces with large windows and 10-14 ft ceilings. There is exquisite, custom work throughout as well as a residents’ lounge and bar, an outdoor garden lounge, temp-controlled grocery storage, a 24-hour attended lobby, and a fitness center.
The 800-feet of shimmering, waterfront glass that is One Manhattan Square is hard to miss. As far as riverfront-living in NYC, it doesn’t get more luxurious than this. The amenity list is gigantic. For our final selection we go back to Brooklyn once more to check out The Ashland. Located in the cultural epicenter of Brooklyn, this impressive, luxury building is in walking distance to BAM, the Mark Morris Dance Center, BRIC, Fort Greene Park and the Barclays Center. Not to mention Gotham Market occupies a portion of the bottom floor of The Ashland, so a renowned food market is right in the building. The condos are large, bright and modern and feature wonderful views of Brooklyn and Manhattan. There’s also an indoor-outdoor fitness center, a rooftop lounge, and outdoor movie screening area, a billiard room, a screening room, a BBQ area and a demo kitchen.
