Monument Real Estate Services, one of the country’s most skilled asset and property managers, is proud to announce that Gregory J. Lozinak has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer. Stuart Zook, the current Chief Executive Officer, will assume a newly created role as Chief Investment Officer, focusing on furthering the firm’s strategic growth and investments.

“Greg has been an instrumental leader since joining Monument Real Estate Services last year, and under his leadership we have seen tremendous growth as we continued to expand our property management portfolio across the country,” said Stuart Zook. “He has distinguished himself during his tenure, significantly increasing efficiencies and enhancing processes, and it is with great enthusiasm that we move the firm forward with Greg as CEO and continue our track record for delivering quality living environments and operational excellence in the multifamily communities we serve.”

Lozinak joined Monument Real Estate Services in January 2016 as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the strategic direction, day-to-day operations, organizational processes and infrastructure of the firm’s 350-person property management team. In this role, he oversaw the firm’s portfolio of more than 12,000 units throughout the Southwest, Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S. His promotion to Chief Executive Officer is part of the firm’s planned succession strategy.

Prior to joining Monument Real Estate Services, Lozinak served as the division president of Invitation Homes, where he oversaw the operational and financial aspects of an 8,000-home rental portfolio with properties located in North Carolina, Chicago and Minneapolis. He previously worked with Waterton Residential, where he operated a 20,000-unit national portfolio for more than seven years, and held leadership positions at ING Clarion Partners and Archstone.

An industry veteran, Lozinak has more than 20 years of experience in real estate investment and management, and graduated cum laude from Saint Bonaventure University, where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. He also served as an officer in the U.S. Army.

“I am honored to lead Monument Real Estate Services and want to thank Stuart for his leadership, guidance and mentoring over the last year,” added Lozinak. “The confidence and trust that Stuart and the executive team have placed in me is humbling and I look forward to continuing to advance the firm as a respected leader in the multifamily management arena, and creating value every day for our team members, residents and investors.”
