Holy Cross Hospital’s Orthopedic Institute in conjunction with Massachusetts General Hospital will offer a hip, knee and shoulder symposium Thursday and Friday, February 2-3 at the Riverside Hotel, 620 East Las Olas Blvd in Fort Lauderdale.
This Second Annual Winter Orthopedic Symposium will include presentations on the latest advances in adult knee and hip arthroplasty, shoulder arthroplasty, joint preservation, advanced recovery and pain protocols. There will also be a discussion on the value of new technology and integration within the new paradigm of health care delivery.
This symposium is designed to provide an educational and networking forum to improve knowledge and interaction among oorthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, nurses, residents, fellows, medical students, research professionals and allied health providers associated with orthopedics.
Holy Cross Hospital is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The non-profit hospital designates this live educational activity for a maximum of nine AMA PRA Category I Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity, which has also been approved by the Florida Board of Nursing to provide six contact hours.
