The national law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP welcomes Fatima T. Hasan to its Fort Lauderdale office as an associate in the Estate Planning & Probate Administration and Tax Practice Groups.

Proficient in Hindi, Ms. Hasan is highly experienced in estate planning, probate and wealth transfer planning for our domestic and international clients. She counsels clients to ensure effective management and orderly transfer of property, draft wills, and trust and estate planning documents. She has also researched and drafted memoranda of law, motions and letters to counsel on topics including corporategovernance, IRS tax matters, bankruptcy, and tax planning. Additionally, she is proficient at filing immigration petitions for corporate employees. She began her career at the Federation of Tax Administrators in Washington, D.C. contributing research on the Sales Tax Nexus Project.

Ms. Hasan earned a Master of Laws in Taxation from Georgetown University Law Center in 2014 and her J.D. from Nova Southeastern University in 2013, where she made the Pro Bono Honor Program – Platinum Level and the Dean’s List. She is actively involved in the Tax Sections of the American Bar Association and Florida Bar Association as well as The Greater Miami Tax Institute.
