Robert Garcia, Alan C. (A.C.) Nash and Amanda J. Podlucky have been elevated from associates to shareholders at Marshall Dennehey Warner Coleman & Goggin. Mr. Garcia, a member of the Professional Liability Department, and Ms. Podlucky, a member of the Casualty Department, are both located in the firm’s Orlando office. Mr. Nash is based in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office where he is a member of the Casualty Department.
Robert Garcia joined Marshall Dennehey in 2009 and focuses his practice on defending all types of professionals and businesses in a variety of negligence, breach of contract, defamation, product liability, debt collection, employment matters and breach of fiduciary duty claims. His clients include homeowner and condominium associations, individual board members, manufacturers, contractors, subcontractors, big box retailers, franchisors, insurance brokers and realtors.
Mr. Garcia obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida, graduating cum laude, and his juris doctor from Boston University School of Law. He is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association. He is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Alan C. (A.C.) Nash joined the firm in 2010 and focuses his practice on the defense of claims made and suits brought against insureds and businesses in product, automobile, commercial, liquor liability, construction and premises liability matters. Additionally, he represents municipalities and law enforcement agencies in issues concerning federal and state civil rights cases involving false arrest, malicious prosecution and excessive force.
Mr. Nash obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and his juris doctor from the Florida State University College of Law. He is a frequent presenter and lecturer, and is actively involved in several industry associations including the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, DRI, and the Florida Bar’s Student Education/Admissions to The Bar Committee. He is rated AV® Preeminent™ by Martindale-Hubbell® and has also been recognized as a Rising Star by the Daily Business Review, named in Florida Trend Magazine’s Florida Legal Elite, and has been listed in Florida Super Lawyers Magazine. Additionally, Mr. Nash was a Fellow with the inaugural Florida Bar Leadership Academy, now known as the William Reece Smith, Jr. Leadership Academy. He is admitted to practice in Florida and all federal courts in Florida including the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
Amanda J. Podlucky joined the firm in 2010 and represents clients in premises liability and automobile negligence matters. Additionally, she frequently represents national and local retailers, recreational facilities, multi-family housing properties, and third-party management and custodial companies against personal injury, negligent security and related general liability claims.
Ms. Podlucky obtained her undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology (Georgia Tech), graduating magna cum laude, and her juris doctor from Villanova University School of Law, graduating cum laude. She is a member of the American Bar Association, the Orange County Bar Association and is a Certified Judge with the Florida BBQ Association. She is admitted to practice in Florida and the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
