Cushman & Wakefield’s Tenant Advisory Team Negotiates ±65,000-SF of Office Leases in South Florida

Tony Jones and Ryan Levy Negotiated Leases for Abbott Laboratories, Atkins, N.A. and Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties

Cushman & Wakefield announced today that its Tenant Advisory Team of Executive Director Tony Jones and Director Ryan Levy has negotiated three leases totaling more than 65,000 square feet in Miami-Dade and Broward Counties.

Abbott Laboratories

Jones and Levy represented Abbott Laboratories in the restructuring and expansion of its existing lease at Presidential Circle in Hollywood, FL. Abbott relocated part of its operations from 701 Brickell Avenue in Miami to the Class A building at 4000 Hollywood Boulevard, taking an additional 8,200 square feet and bringing its consolidated footprint in Presidential Circle to 30,791 square feet. It will move into the new space in Q1 2017.

Illinois-based Abbott Laboratories is a global heath care company employing more than 74,000 people in 150 countries. The firm directs its Latin American operations out of this space. Ed Steinhardt represented the landlord, CDR Federal.

Atkins N.A.

Jones and Levy negotiated Atkins N.A.’srelocation to 800 Waterford Way in Miami’s Waterford at Blue Lagoon office park. Atkins, which is the first tenant in the newly-built Class A speculative asset, is expected to move into the 26,000-square-foot space in the summer of 2017.

U.K.-based Atkins, is one of the world’s largest engineering, design and project management firms with more than 18,000 employees around the globe. Atkins is relocating from 2001 NW 107th Avenue. The Hogan Group’s Steve Smith represented the landlords, TIAA and Allianz.

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc.

Jones and Levy negotiated Toyota Tsusho America, Inc.’s 8,839-square-foot renewal at 703 Waterford Way in Waterford at Blue Lagoon.

Toyota Tsusho America, Inc. is a subsidiary of the Japanese conglomerate, Toyota Group. It has business interests in metals, machinery, electronics, chemicals, logistics, automotive, food and consumer products. The company was founded in 1960 and is based in Georgetown, Ken. The Hogan Group’s Steve Smith represented the landlords, TIAA and Allianz.
