Plaza Health Network, an award-winning network of rehabilitation and skilled nursing centers, announced the appointment of Claudia Innocent, RN, MSN, as Director of Clinical Excellence. In this new position, Innocent is responsible for driving the development, implementation and evaluation of operations and strategic initiatives designed to enhance the quality of patient care across the network.

Additionally, Innocent collaborates and consults with the Chief Clinical Officer regarding the clinical demands of each facility while providing clinical support by identifying and resolving clinical issues related to assessments, referrals, and case management. She is also involved with developing staff knowledge and morale.

“Maintaining and monitoring best practices across our network of over 900 beds in seven rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities is a full-time job, and Claudia is exceptionally qualified to serve in this role,” said Elaine Bloom, Plaza Health Network CEO and President.

Innocent has previously served the community as a member of the Haitian American Nurses Association and volunteers with local churches for health fairs and education.

Innocent obtained her Bachelor and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix in 2003 and 2004, respectively. She is currently completing an advanced registered nurse practitioner degree program.
