TotalBank Senior Vice President of Corporate Lending Eugene S. Font was elected to the Board of Directors for the Miami-Dade/Monroe district of CCIM Florida, the state chapter of the CCIM Institute national network of commercial investment real estate experts.
The CCIM designation, which stands for Certified Commercial Investment Member, is commercial real estate’s global standard for professional achievement. Font is a commercial banking veteran with more than 25 years experience in the real estate industry. His career began as a project manager and broker for a local architecture firm, the experience from which he parlayed into investment, lending and credit policy expertise for community and international banks. He also worked for a commercial real estate services firm leading a group specializing in optimizing returns on troubled assets.
As a member of the CCIM Florida Miami-Dade/Monroe Board, Font will focus on key policy decisions and programming to promote and support commercial real estate investment activity in South Florida.
Font graduated from the University of Miami with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and is a licenced real estate broker in Florida. He is also an active member of the Latin Builders Association, the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
