WWHGD Growth Continues: Adds Five Associates in Three Offices

Weinberg Wheeler Hudgins Gunn & Dial, a “Litigation Department of the Year” winner is proud to announce the arrival of five new associates: Brian Goldenberg, Amy Park, Ben Ralston, Melissa Roque, and Michael Valiente.  Goldenberg and Roque joined the firm’s Miami office; Park and Ralston are in the Atlanta office, and Valiente will practice from the Las Vegas office.

Brian Goldenberg’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation including catastrophic injury, insurance coverage, premises liability, and product liability.  Brian began his career as a WWHGD summer associate for the Miami office in 2015 and clerked through the remainder of his law school career.  He received his B.A. from Rollins College and M.A. from LSU before graduating summa cum laude from the University Of Miami School Of Law.  While attending law school, Brian was the Executive Editor of the University of Miami Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Team.  He received multiple CALI Awards and Dean’s Certificate of Achievements.

Amy Park’s practice focuses on civil litigation with an emphasis on medical malpractice, products liability, and catastrophic injury.  In addition to working as a summer associate at WWHGD, Amy was an Extern for the American Civil Liberties Union of Georgia in 2015.  She attended Emory University for her B.A.  Amy graduated magna cum laude from Georgia State University School of Law where she received three CALI Awards Amy is a member of the American Bar Association and the Korean-American Bar Association.

Ben Ralston’s practice includes civil litigation with an emphasis on catastrophic injury, professional liability, and premises liability.  Ben received both his B.A. and J.D. from the University of Georgia.  While attending the University Of Georgia School Of Law, he was the Notes Editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law.  Additionally, Ben was the President of the Student Bar Association, and member of the Mock Trial team, which was a semifinalist at both the William W. Daniel National Invitational Mock Trial Competition and the Texas Bar Association National Trial Competition.

Melissa Roque focuses on catastrophic injury, construction litigation, premises liability, and product liability.  Melissa attended the University of Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Arts in degree Political Science with a Concentration in American Politics.  She then received her J.D. from the University Of Florida Levin College Of Law.   She was a member of the John Marshall Bar Association Elections Committee and a Chair of the Honor Committee.  Additionally, she received the Public Speaking Book Award.

Michael Valiente focuses his practice on catastrophic injury, construction litigation, and wrongful death actions.  Mike attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. degree in Political Science.  Prior to attending law school, Mike was a successful real estate agent and investor focusing on the acquisition and financing of distressed properties throughout Las Vegas.  He graduated summa cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.  While in law school, Mike served as a Judicial Extern for the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and was a summer associate at WWHGD.  Mike received numerous awards in law school including five CALI Awards, William S. Boyd Academic Achievement Award, Scribes, the American Society of Legal Writers Award, Dean’s Merit Scholarship, and Best Brief at the Southerland Cup Moot Court Competition.
