Cushman & Wakefield announced today that it has negotiated more than 30,000 square feet of long-term office leases valued at more than $15 million at 777 Brickell Avenue.

The office leasing team of Vice Chair Brian Gale, Managing Director Andrew Trench, Managing Director Ryan Holtzman and Director Jeannette Mendoza represented building owner Alliance RE Holding, a subsidiary of Brazilian investor Avenida Raja Gabáglia (ARG), in securing leases with CBRE, Inc. and Coty, Inc..

CBRE signed a 18,921-square-foot relocation and expansion release on the building’s 11th floor. The firm previously housed more than 50 employees in a 17,327-square-foot space on the building’s ninth floor. CBRE’s Shay Pope represented his own firm in the transaction.

“We are very happy to have CBRE grow within our building,” said Trench. “Maintaining them as a tenant was obviously a high priority for ownership, and we are excited to deliver their brand new office space in 777 Brickell.”

New York-based Coty, Inc., is one of the world’s leading beauty companies with approximately $9 billion in revenue. The firm has established an iconic portfolio of leading fragrances, cosmetics and skin and body care brands such as Calvin Klein, Chloe, Davidoff, Marc Jacobs, Philosophy, Rimmel London and Sally Hansen. Coty signed a 12,196-square-foot renewal and expansion lease. The firm previously occupied 6,300 square feet on the building’s sixth floor. CBRE’s Grant Killingsworth represented Coty in the transaction.

“Coty is an internationally recognized company, and we are ecstatic to keep them as one of our prestigious tenants,” said Gale. “It was a top priority to entice Coty to remain at 777 Brickell, as many other owners were trying to lure them to their buildings”.

777 Brickell Avenue is a 13-story, 288,457-square-foot office tower developed in 1980. The building offers efficient floor plates with spectacular views of Biscayne Bay, on-site management, 24-hour security, ample covered parking accessible from Brickell Avenue and state-of-the-art communications infrastructure.
