Robert Ortega has joined Brain Tunnelgenix Technologies (BTT Corp.) as Chief Technology Officer. He oversees the development of all technology, including cloud, artificial intelligence (AI) and mobile solutions based on the FDA approved Abreu BTT™ 700 System. He also oversees the development of other proprietary and worldwide patented products for noninvasive and continuous brain temperature and thermodynamics monitoring.

Ortega joins BTT Corp. from Microsoft where he served as Principal Enterprise Strategist and Senior Architect to Fortune 100 companies. His focus was to deliver cloud solutions and strategies to achieve digital transformation that helped companies maximize business value by employing Microsoft solutions.
In addition, Ortega led systems architecture at First Union Capital Markets, Wachovia Corporate Investment Bank and Wells Fargo Wholesale Banking. He brings a wealth of knowledge in IT strategic planning, capital markets research and development, prototyping and software application solutions.
While Chief Technology Officer and member of the board of directors at XBond Corp., a financial services technology company, Ortega pioneered software for fixed income trade order management over the Internet.
Ortega is the inventor four U.S. patent applications related to investment banking. He has presented at GlobusWorld on grid computing and service-oriented architecture (SOA) and was featured in Computerworld and InformationWeek.
He graduated from the Executive Development Program at the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and from the U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
