Colliers International South Florida is proud to announce 200 East Broward has been named “The Outstanding Building of the Year” (TOBY) in the 100,000 – 249,000 square foot category by Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) of Fort Lauderdale and the Palm Beaches.
Managed by Colliers International, the building was recognized for excellence in areas of property management that are critical to maintaining the value of the property including building management, operational efficiency, tenant retention, emergency planning and community impact.
200 East Broward team member and Colliers Senior Property Manager Keeley O’Leary also earned individual distinction, taking home the coveted Rising Star Award. “I couldn’t be more proud of our team and their collaborative efforts,” added O’Leary. “The Colliers team has a laser-focus on exceeding ownership’s expectations and adding value to our client’s assets. The TOBY Award validates the effectiveness of our management strategy and even sweeter to come in the form of recognition by our industry peers.”
The win put 200 East Broward among eight Broward and Palm Beach properties announced at The TOBY Gala on November 4th at the Eau Palm Beach that can compete for the title in their categories at the regional level. That competition includes properties from nine states and will be announced at the BOMA Southern Conference held April 5-8, 2017 in Atlanta, GA.
The TOBY awards give professionals the opportunity to benchmark operational excellence with their peers in the real estate industry. Judges from the 100,000 – 249,000 square foot category called the win, “One of the best presentations of a building I’ve ever seen.” Adding, “The Colliers staff is well trained and very knowledgeable. They are a well-oiled machine.”
