Local hospitality industry to get a boost from two recent hotel sales through Compass’ Charles Celesia

Compass, a technology-driven real estate platform, announces the recent acquisition of the Harbor Beach Inn located at 1147 Seabreeze Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale. The sale, facilitated by Compass real estate agent Chares Celesia, is the latest example of Ft. Lauderdale’s burgeoning mid-level hospitality industry.

The Harbor Beach Inn represents the second acquisition this year for Celesia; he recently closed on the property just next door – The Blarney Castle Motel at 2086 Harbor Drive. Both properties comprise nearly 26,000 contiguous square feet of land directly adjacent to AIA, and steps away from the Atlantic Ocean.

“Our investor, an international hotelier, hopes to continue expanding his passion for hospitality in the Ft. Lauderdale market,” said Celesia. “Plans for both hotels are currently underway, bringing a modern look and feel to each room while maintaining an affordable hotel experience.”

Rooms are expected to start at $140 per night during the high season, and will include new furnishings, bedding, fixtures, and appliances. Both hotels are currently at maximum capacity for the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show.
