Businesses Rally Around Learning Disabled Students Preparing Them For Employment Opportunities

Michael Weiss, shareholder at the Blaut Weiss Law Group, Loretta Pedley, Joe and Carolyn McCahon from Smiling Faces Forever Foundation were on hand to present a $1,000 donation earmarked for bus passes to allow students to get to their interviews and eventual employment.

At the recent Atlantic Technical College and High School (ATC) Advisory Board meeting, Smiling Faces Forever Foundation presented a $1,000 donation earmarked for student bus passes. Michael Weiss, shareholder at the Blaut Weiss Law Group, Loretta Pedley, Joe and Carolyn McCahon from the non-profit were on hand to present the check. This donation goes towards helping graduates who have been trained to worked but lack the resources necessary to get to their interviews and eventual employment.

The ATC program has been in operation for more than ten years and brings students together with employers who provide learning disabled students full and part time jobs that can put them on a permanent career path.
