MDM Hotel Group announced that Maribel Vazquez is the new General Manager for both Miami Marriott Dadeland and Courtyard Miami Dadeland. In her new role, Vazquez will oversee the management and day-to-day operation of both hotels including over $17M in renovations with the recently unveiled art inspired “Design” guestrooms

With more than 15 years of hospitality experience, Vazquez most recently served as Project Manager for MDM Hotel Group where she implemented various operational and systems enhancements across the company’s portfolio of hotels. Prior to serving as Project Manager, she served as Financial Controller for the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and Hotel Beaux Arts Miami.

Miami Marriott Dadeland was the first hotel in the collection of hotels operated by MDM Hotel Group. The 24 story hotel tower located in Miami’s Dadeland / South Miami area consists of 302 guest rooms and three concierge levels. The hotel has over 38,000 square feet of meeting space and 28 meeting rooms. Adjacent to the hotel is the popular Courtyard Miami Dadeland featuring 128 guest rooms. In addition to new art inspired “Design” guestrooms, Miami Marriott Dadeland’s redesign has also included a new front desk area that comprises the use of white marble, contemporary lighting and a comfortable lobby bar area that includes several flat screen TVs, ample seating and a delicious appetizer and cocktail menu. The hotel has also recently undergone a renovation to their porte cochere and valet parking area.
