Vanessa Reynolds Elected to Florida Health Care Risk Management Board

Vanessa Reynolds, a partner in the Fort Lauderdale office of the statewide law firm Broad and Cassel, has been elected to the board of directors for the Florida Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Patient Safety (FSHRMPS).

FSHRMPS is a state affiliate of the American Society for Healthcare Risk Management and offers networking and professional development opportunities for its members. The society is the only professional association exclusively representing Florida licensed health care risk managers, patient safety officers and other professionals who work in support of these roles.

Board certified in health law by The Florida Bar, Reynolds is a member of the firm’s Health Law Practice Group and is an industry veteran with more than 25 years of experience. She is Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance by the Health Care Compliance Association’s Compliance Certification Board and has an AV Preeminent® Peer Review Rating with Martindale-Hubbell.

Active in various professional and community organizations, Reynolds founded the Broad and Cassel Healthcare Risk Management Scholarship Fund for the FSHRMPS, which awards scholarship funds to risk managers to attend annual conferences held by the society.
