Miami-based firm adds a combined 1,205 units to management portfolio; appoints Brandon Skinner as regional manager
Monument Real Estate Services, one of the country’s most skilled asset and property managers, has expanded its presence in South Florida with six new management assignments, and by appointing a new regional manager.
The company has been retained to manage six apartment communities throughout South Florida. They include: Biscayne Shores, Midora at Woodmont, Shorecrest Manor, Sunset Palms, Park Plaza and Woodland Meadows.
Concurrently, Monument Real Estate Services has appointed Brandon Skinner as regional manager for the South Florida area.
Miami-based Monument Real Estate Services manages a portfolio of more than 12,000 units in markets throughout the Southwest, Southeast, Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions of the U.S. As part of the firm’s comprehensive management services, it will implement a number of upgrades to the communities, including the installation of new cabinets, appliances, lighting and flooring in units as well as exterior enhancements.
Brandon Skinner brings over 10 years of experience in property management to his new role for Monument Real Estate Services, where he will be responsible for overseeing the firm’s South Florida portfolio of properties. Prior to joining Monument, Skinner served as a director of operations and regional manager for KPC Properties where he oversaw leadership and development across a 2,100-unit portfolio, including the repositioning of property acquisitions in Broward and North Miami. He has also worked as a district manager at Carlisle Property Management where he was responsible for all aspects of the firm’s on-site operations as well as managing an affordable multi-family portfolio that consisted of approximately 1,000 units.

The firm’s six new South Florida management assignments include:
Biscayne Shores: Located at 8951 NE 8th Avenue in Miami Shores,the five-story building is comprised of one- and two- bedroom apartment homes and is conveniently situated near a public park and public transportation. The community offers spacious balconies, elevators, a swimming pool, gated parking and controlled access to the building.
Midora at Woodmont: Offering garden style apartment homes with 199 units in three-story buildings, Midora at Woodmont is located at 7790 NW 78th Avenue in Tamarac. With one- and two-bedroom apartments, the community includes a swimming pool, fitness center, playground and tennis court. Upgrades will include the addition of a dog park and barbecue gazebo area.
Shorecrest Manor: Comprised of 64 units, Shorecrest Manor is located at 724 NE 85th Street in Miami. The five-story apartment homes offer one- and two-bedroom floorplans complete with granite countertops, balconies, laundry facilities, and covered parking.
Sunset Palms: Formerly known as Conquistador Apartments, Sunset Palms is a 318-unit community located at 7400 Stirling Road in Pembroke Pines and is comprised of garden-style homes offering studio, one-, and two-bedroom apartments. Residents can enjoy access to the clubhouse, pool, playground, basketball court, tennis court, sauna, sundeck, and courtyard. WiFi is included as an additional feature and is accessible at the pool and clubhouse.
Park Plaza: Park Plaza is located at 17600 NW 5th Avenue in Miami. The three-story buildings offer 234 units with one-, two- and three-bedroom homes and exterior amenities include a clubhouse, grill and picnic area, laundry facilities and pet care area.
Woodland Meadows: Featuring 296 garden style apartment homes, the two story buildings at Woodland Meadows are comprised of one-, two, and three-bedroom units. Located at 5903 NW 57th Court in Tamarac, the community offers a swimming pool, tennis courts, laundry center, volleyball court, spa, and playground, while a clubhouse for community events is set to be added among other interior and exterior upgrades.
The firm’s South Florida portfolio already included the 402-unit Palm Islands Apartments in Pompano Beach, Fla. and the 69-unit Royal Oaks Townhomes in Hollywood, Fla.
