Independent Living Systems (ILS) is pleased to announce that David Gutwald has joined the organization to serve as Senior Vice President of Operations.  In this role, David will focus primarily on the company’s Third Party Administration (TPA) business by overseeing all aspects of TPA operations including new client implementation and configuration, enrollment and eligibility, claims, call centers, printing and fulfillment, and reporting.

ILS offers a range of health management services in partnership with health plans, providers, and health systems with the common goal of keeping the most vulnerable members of society independent and healthy.  A pivotal component of the ILS suite of services is TPA – a business that ILS has been in for more than 20 years.

Prior to joining ILS, Gutwald served as the Chief Operating Officer of CarePoint Health Plans where he managed the operations of a new Medicare Advantage plan.

Gutwald will work out of the company’s Islandia, New York office.
