Kelley Kronenberg, a full-service business law firm, announced that attorneys David A. Fry and Kristhina H. Vargas have joined the firm’s Orlando office. Mr. Fry handles First and Third Party Insurance Defense and complex General Liability matters involving wrongful death and catastrophic injuries. Ms. Vargas focuses her practice on Workers’ Compensation Defense.
Prior to joining Kelley Kronenberg, Mr. Fry served as an Assistant State Attorney in the Ninth Judicial Circuit of Florida. In this role, prosecuting a high volume of criminal cases on behalf of the State of Florida, he appeared in court on a near daily basis. Before beginning his legal career, he also served as a policy aide to the Mayor of Miami, a public affairs consultant, and as a voter registration coordinator to a political party during a presidential campaign. Mr. Fry received his Bachelor of Arts degree, with honors in International Relations, from Florida International University and a Master of Education degree from Florida Atlantic University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Nova Southeastern University, Shepard Broad Law Center. He is admitted to practice law in Florida.
Ms. Vargas previously worked for a law firm in Orlando, handling Personal Injury and Workers’ Compensation matters. She has also served as a Judicial Intern for the Hon. Denis Boyle, 12th Judicial District Criminal Division in New York, NY. Ms. Vargas earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice from John Jay College of Criminal Justice and her Juris Doctor degree from Barry University School of Law. During law school, she served as an Adjunct Professor of Criminal Justice for Florida Technical College as well as a Legal Intern for several Orlando-based law firms. She is admitted to practice law in Florida and is pending admission in New York and New Jersey. She is fluent in Spanish.
