CBRE Group, Inc. announced today that Southeast Division President John Ferguson has expanded his leadership role to include executive oversight for Florida.  Mr. Ferguson also has executive responsibility for15 other market areas that make up the Southeast Division including Atlanta, Birmingham, Charlotte, Charleston, Greenville, Nashville, Baltimore, Washington D.C., Tysons Corner, Bethesda, Memphis, Jackson, Columbia, and Savannah, as well as Raleigh/Greensboro, a CBRE affiliate office.

Mr. Ferguson has led CBRE’s Southeast Division since January 2011, and in the last 15 months, has led the acquisition and integration of six firms throughout the region.

CBRE’s Florida Division had been under the executive leadership of Mary Jo Eaton, who was recently promoted to Global President for Asset Services and Valuation. With her promotion, Florida is being folded into the Southeast Division; a regional market leader for Florida, who will report to Mr. Ferguson, is yet to be named.

Mr. Ferguson is a three-time recipient of the CBRE President’s Performance award and serves on the CBRE Americas Strategy Group, and formerly on the CBRE Americas Presidents Advisory Council. He currently serves as the executive sponsor of the Asia Pacific American Forum, a CBRE internal employee networking group.
