Hal joins the Firm after serving as a partner at a boutique law firm specializing in international tax and estate planning for high net worth international private clients and their families, servicing predominately Latin American, Caribbean, and European clientele.

Hal brings with him over 16 years of tax and estate planning legal experience. His practice focuses on the representation of ultra-high net worth international private clients in cross border tax and estate planning, U.S. tax compliance services, family office advisory services and cross-border real property transactions. Hal frequently deals with sophisticated foreign trusts with United States beneficiaries, pre-immigration planning, structuring foreign investment into the United States and voluntary disclosures.

Hal is a frequent author and lecturer on various topics of international tax and estate planning. Additionally, he is Past Chairman of the International Tax In-Bound Committee of the Florida Bar Tax Section, and Chairman of the Miami Branch of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners based in London, England. Hal has consistently been recognized by legal publications including Best Lawyers in America, Florida Super Lawyers, and Guide to the World’s Leading Trusts & Estates Practitioners.
