Twelve Brinkley Morgan Attorneys Honored by Florida Super Lawyers Magazine

Eleven attorneys with Brinkley Morgan, a full-service South Florida law firm established in 1975, have been named 2016 Florida Super Lawyers by Super Lawyers Magazine. Additionally, attorney Julia Wyda was named a 2016 Rising Star.

The Florida Super Lawyers rating service recognizes outstanding lawyers throughout the state who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. The organization’s Rising Stars list recognizes top up-and-coming attorneys who are 40 years old or younger, or who have been practicing for 10 years or less. Attorneys are selected through a multi-phase process that includes independent research, peer nominations and peer evaluations.

2016 Florida Super Lawyers

A Florida Bar board-certified specialist in marital and family law, Kenneth A. Gordon handles complex family law matters including dissolutions of marriage, alimony, parental responsibility and timesharing disputes, business valuation, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, equitable distribution, adoption, domestic partnership agreements, appeals, and all other family law related matters. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been honored as a Super Lawyer in the area of family law every year since 2011.

With more than 40 years of experience, Gordon James III is a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Civil Trial law. He has handled high-risk cases and regional litigation management in commercial, drug & medical device and product liability cases. Additionally, he is often called upon to hire and manage local counsel in other states, to assist in developing trial strategies for use across the country, and to assist in high-risk trials in other states or regions. He has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the area of family law for eleven consecutive years.

John N. Lambros concentrates his practice in the areas of family law, adoption, paternity, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and dissolution of marriage, including alimony, child support, parental responsibility, timesharing and equitable distribution, post-dissolution matters, and other related matters. He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine in the area of family law each year since 2011.

Mark A. Levy represents businesses and individuals in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels, in the areas of commercial litigation, bankruptcy and creditors' rights. He has significant experience representing parties in bankruptcy adversary proceedings involving objections to discharge, dischargeability of debts, fraudulent transfers, and related bankruptcy litigation, as well as in handling matters involving contract disputes, corporate disputes, business torts, real estate and foreclosure.  He previously served as President of the Federal Bar Association Broward County Chapter and has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Florida Rising Star in 2009 and a Florida Super Lawyer from 2015-2016.

Brinkley Morgan managing partner Philip J. Morgan is a Florida Bar board certified specialist in real estate law, concentrating his practice on commercial and residential transactions and the title insurance of those matters. He focuses primarily on working with lenders to successfully close commercial loans secured by real estate or other assets, in addition to loan workouts and foreclosures.  As a member of the firm since its inception in 1975 and the managing partner since 1998, he has received numerous recognitions for his extensive legal experience.

Florida Bar board-certified in marital and family law, Yueh-Mei Kim Nutter concentrates her practice in the areas of family law, civil litigation, guardianships, and probate and estate litigation.  Nutter is a Florida certified family mediator and appellate mediator and chair of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, responsible for the creation of the Guardian Ad Litem Training Program for Family Court. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and has been named a Super Lawyer in the area of family law each year since 2008.

David A. Riggs focuses his practice in the areas of marital and family law, probate litigation and guardianships. He is a member of the Family Law Section of the South Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Family Law Section of The Florida Bar, where he has served in leadership roles on various committees.  He has also served as a member of the Duke University Alumni Admissions Advisory Committee and as a member of the board of directors of Boca Hoops, Inc.  He has been recognized in the area of family law by Super Lawyers Magazine since 2015.

As a Florida Bar Board Certified Specialist in Marital and Family Law, Jonathan Z. Schiller has extensive experience in handling complex marital and family law matters, with special emphasis on dissolution of marriage, parental responsibility and time-sharing, equitable distribution, business valuation, alimony, child support, attorney’s fees, preparation and enforcement of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity, domestic violence, and child dependency.  He has been recognized by Super Lawyers Magazine as a Florida Rising Star from 2010-2013 and as a Florida Super Lawyer since 2015.

With more than 30 years of experience, Ronald L. Siegel is a Florida Bar Board Certified specialist in Wills, Trusts and Estates. He focuses his practice in all aspects of estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship and real estate.  An active member of the community, Siegel serves on professional advisory committees of numerous charitable and professional organizations and has lectured extensively throughout South Florida on various estate planning topics.

As a Florida Bar board certified specialist in Business Litigation, Harris K. Solomon concentrates his practice on commercial litigation, partnership and shareholder disputes, representation of creditors in bankruptcy proceedings, probate litigation, and government law. He has extensive experience representing both individuals and mid-size businesses in the courtroom.  He is named a Super Lawyer in the practice area of business litigation for the tenth year.

Florida Bar board-certified in marital and family law, Roberta G. Stanley specializes in handling complex marital and family law cases of dissolution of marriage, including equitable distribution, business valuation, taxation issues, alimony, child support, parental responsibility and timesharing, preparation and enforcement of intricate prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity and all other family related matters. Stanley is a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers and the International Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers. She has been recognized as a Super Lawyer in the area of family law for eleven consecutive years.

Julia Wyda concentrates her practice in all areas of marital and family law, including dissolution of marriage, parental responsibility and time-sharing, equitable distribution, alimony, child support, attorney's fees, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, paternity, and child dependency.  Wyda is an active member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar, serving as Co-Chair of the CLE Committee from 2011-2013 and currently serving as Chair of the Publications Committee and member of the Executive Council, Alternative Dispute Resolution Committee, Equitable Distribution Committee, Legislation Committee, and Support Issues Committee. She has been named a Florida Rising Star in the area of family law by Super Lawyers Magazine since 2010.
