Ryan Todd Joins Broad and Cassel’s Fort Lauderdale Office

Statewide law firm Broad and Cassel today announced Ryan Todd has joined the firm’s Fort Lauderdale office as an associate in the Commercial Litigation Practice Group.

Prior to joining Broad and Cassel, Todd was an associate with Conroy Simberg in West Palm Beach. While there, he participated in every phase of litigation, including research, drafting and argument of substantive and procedural motions; discovery and deposition practice; preparation for mediation; and trial and deposing of experts. Additionally, he has litigated matters involving wrongful death, medical malpractice, products liability, construction defect and more.

Todd holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University in Durham, N.C., and earned his juris doctor from the University of Florida Levin College of Law, where he was the recipient of six book awards and one of 13 students from around the state selected to be a member of Class V of the Florida Gubernatorial Fellows. In 2015 and 2016, he was also named a Rising Star by Florida Super Lawyers.

Actively involved in professional and community organizations, Todd serves as the vice chairman for Career Connection of Broward. Previously, he served as a member of the Duke University Board of Trustees.

News of Todd’s addition comes on the heels of a string of new hire announcements from Broad and Cassel. The firm recently announced the addition of Veteran Health Law Attorney Mark Folk and Associate Gabriel Itskovich in Boca Raton; Associate Francisco Armada in Miami; Associates Heather Purdy, Lawrence Raab and Andrea Morgan in Orlando; and Former Circuit Court Judge Frank Sheffield and Associate Joshua Stratton in Tallahassee.
