KW Property Management & Consulting has added Alexander Martin as Regional Manager. The hiring of Martin is another example of the rapid growth of one of the real estate industry’s premier property management companies.

Martin brings nearly two decades of hospitality industry experience to KWPM. In his new role, Martin oversees district, property and general managers and work with developers and association board members on the strategic direction of properties in KWPM’s vast portfolio. He also assists in recruiting talented professionals to bolster the company’s evolving 5-Star/5-Diamond Hospitality Luxury Services division.

Through the Hospitality Luxury Services division, KWPM provides clients with a suite of management services on par with high-end hotels. The company’s portfolio of luxury properties under management include Brickell City Centre (the Reach and Rise condo buildings), the Bimini Bay Resort, Echo Aventura, Oceana Key Biscayne, Glass, 900 Biscayne, One Miami and Turnberry Village. The company is in the process of opening Grove at Grand Bay, The Bond, Oceana Bal Harbour, and Sage Beach.

“We expect to expand the division significantly during the next 24-to-36 months as more residential assets shift to operating like luxury hotels, with virtually the same amenities,” said KWPM Managing Director Paul Kaplan. “Alexander is a pivotal part of that growth. He will work closely with our high-end developers and property owners to ensure they meet the demands of their unit owners and residents.”

Martin’s extensive hospitality experience includes 12 years at Ritz-Carlton. He has managed more than 300 ultra-luxury residential and condo-hotel units valued at more than $1 billion. In 2006, Martin was honored by the Greater Miami Convention and Visitors Bureau as its Hospitality Person of the Year.

“I am thrilled to be part of one of the nation’s leading property management companies,” said Martin. “KWPM is on the cutting edge by integrating the latest technology into the management of residential and commercial assets. The company understands that no detail is too small when it comes to the quality of life of residents and our clients’ investments.”

Martin earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Universidad Simon Bolivar in Venezuela. He received his Community Association Manager (CAM) certification from the Gold Coast School of Real Estate.
